SEP-31 enables anchor-to-anchor direct payments for seamless bank-to-bank cross-border transfers. Both standards use supporting SEPs for KYC/AML, authentication, and data sharing. The Stellar Development Foundation provides Polaris, a Django app that implements SEP-24 and SEP-31 server logic, enabling anchors to connect local financial rails to Stellar in weeks rather than months.
