Flutterwave and TEMPO launched two new remittance corridors between Europe and Africa on Stellar, using Stellar USDC to reduce costs and improve efficiency for cross-border payments to underserved regions.

Flutterwave, a global payments technology company, announced the launch of two new remittance corridors between Europe and Africa on the Stellar network in partnership with TEMPO Payments. The corridors leverage Stellar USDC to simplify and reduce the cost of remittances, which are historically expensive to sub-Saharan Africa. The partnership connects Stellar-based businesses to create an efficient Pan-African payments infrastructure, allowing customers to send funds faster and at lower cost directly to local bank accounts. Flutterwave plans to extend Stellar-based capabilities to additional African countries as it expands currency support, supporting the Stellar Development Foundation's mission of equitable financial access.
