Flutterwave, a global payments technology company, announced the launch of two new remittance corridors connecting Europe and Africa on the Stellar network in partnership with TEMPO, a principal EU anchor for Stellar. The corridors leverage Stellar USDC to simplify and reduce the cost of remittances, addressing the high expense of sending money to sub-Saharan Africa. Flutterwave plans to extend Stellar-based capabilities to additional African countries and currencies. The partnership creates an efficient Pan-African payments infrastructure, enabling faster and cheaper fund transfers directly to local bank accounts.
