Flutterwave launched two new remittance corridors between Europe and Africa on Stellar, partnering with TEMPO to offer cost-effective money transfers using Stellar USDC, expanding Pan-African digital payments infrastructure.

The Stellar Development Foundation announced that Flutterwave, a global payments technology company, has launched two new remittance corridors between Europe and Africa on the Stellar network in partnership with TEMPO. The corridors leverage Stellar USDC to simplify remittances and reduce costs for businesses and individuals sending money to Africa. Flutterwave plans to extend Stellar-based capabilities to additional African countries as it expands currency support. This partnership creates efficient payment rails connecting Stellar-based businesses and supports SDF's mission to provide equitable access to the global financial system, addressing the high cost of remittances to sub-Saharan Africa.
