Tellus Cooperative and Pollar hosted Global Mixer, a social side event at HackMeridian 26 in Lisbon on October 26. Builders from across the Stellar ecosystem gathered to network, share music, and karaoke—a reminder that strong ecosystems are built on human connection alongside code.
Over 100 Stellar builders gathered in Lisbon for HackMeridian 26, a 27-hour hackathon during Meridian 2026. After intense competition, Tellus Cooperative and Pollar organized Global Mixer, a social side event emphasizing that ecosystems are built on trust and human connection, not just code. The evening featured networking, live music, and karaoke. Regional ambassadors from Stellar Chile represented Latin America, demonstrating ecosystem reach across regions. The event highlighted a key insight: formal competitions and side gatherings both matter; one drives innovation, the other builds interpersonal bonds that sustain long-term collaboration.
