The Global Mixer at HackMeridian in Lisbon brought together Stellar builders from multiple countries for an evening of informal networking, music, and karaoke. Organized by Tellus Cooperative and Pollar, the event created space for cross-border community connection outside the formal hackathon structure. The piece reflects on why these in-person moments matter: strong ecosystems aren't built on good code alone, but on the trust and relationships that develop when builders meet face-to-face. Notably, the event highlighted Latin American representation at Meridian, with 2026 Stellar Chile ambassadors present, and Tellus Cooperative, a Latin American blockchain cooperative, helping facilitate the gathering.
