Stellar integrated its developer curriculum into an accredited university program at Vietnam Korea University in Da Nang—the first blockchain technology course in VKU's official catalog. Designed by VKU and Rise In using Princeton's blockchain principles as the academic framework, the curriculum trains students across three phases: blockchain foundations and Stellar Core, hands-on development with Stellar's tools and Soroban smart contracts, and final demo day where students present live dApps built on Stellar Testnet. The first cohort includes 100+ students. Every graduate receives a certificate issued jointly by VKU and Rise In. The partnership reflects Da Nang's push to position itself as Southeast Asia's blockchain hub, with Stellar now embedded in formal tech education rather than confined to post-graduation workshops.
