Stellar and BAF concluded a Latin American hackathon with 136 hackers from 6 countries building 27 projects. Winners included Pacto (P2P stablecoin exchange), Kredible (decentralized reputation protocol), Stellar Onboarding Hub (gamified onboarding dApp), and GoLazy (challenge rewards platform).

The Stellar and BAF-backed hackathon brought together 136 developers across Bolivia, Mexico, Peru, Costa Rica, Argentina, and Colombia with physical hubs in Buenos Aires, Cartagena, San José, and Santa Cruz. Participants submitted 27 projects addressing real-world challenges in emerging markets. Track 1 winner Pacto launched a functional P2P platform for exchanging stablecoins with local currencies using Stellar assets. Track 2 winners included Kredible, a decentralized reputation protocol enabling financial access in emerging markets, and Stellar Onboarding Hub, a gamified super dApp with seedless wallet onboarding. Track 3 winner GoLazy enables communities and NGOs to create public challenges with automated USDC rewards. Additional recognition went to SkillHubID (most developed MVP) and Woopie (most creative). The organizers announced follow-up initiatives including an Ambassador program, access to Stellar grants, and continued community support.
