Eight local projects competed at the conference, with six pitching on the Meridian stage.
Over September and October 2026, Chile's Stellar community centered activity around Tellus Cooperative's Blockchain Hub in Santiago and partnerships with Universidad de La Frontera in Temuco. Tellus and Stellar Chile ran Stellar Academy courses covering development tools, prototype building, and smart contract fundamentals, training 666+ students. The community held Find Your Way hackathon with 5,000 USDC in prizes, sent 10 ambassador scholarships to HackMeridian in Lisbon, and deployed eight local projects to the conference. Alongside this, nine InstaAward projects—including Kuyfi (security testing for Soroban), x402 (local Chilean payments), and TrustLeaf (verifiable medical records)—continued development milestones. The initiative shows how regional chapters build education, community, and builder ecosystems in Latin America.
