Dfns introduces BYOABI, enabling clients to import smart contract ABIs and interact with them natively from Dfns wallets. This upgrades Dfns to manage full smart contract lifecycles like minting, burning, and pausing under its security and governance model. Future expansions include support for Stellar and other networks.
BYOABI (Bring Your Own ABI) allows Dfns users to register smart contracts by address and ABI, making them first-class objects for read-only calls and state-changing transactions from Dfns wallets. It supports Ethereum and EVM chains initially, enabling token lifecycle management such as minting, burning, pausing, and governance actions with full auditability and policies. This eliminates reliance on custom scripts or external tools, bringing operations, treasury, and compliance teams into a secure control plane. Dfns remains agnostic to contract logic while providing execution security. Future plans include multi-chain support for Solana, Stellar, Canton, and enhanced policy controls.
