Templar Protocol, a decentralized lending platform, published its roadmap for expanding Cypher Lending across multiple blockchains. Starting with Bitcoin and Ethereum in Q2 2025, the protocol plans to add Stellar, Solana, Cardano, and dozens more chains through 2026, with privacy features and chain abstraction.

Templar Protocol released a detailed roadmap for its Cypher Lending platform, which enables users to borrow against Bitcoin and other assets without centralized intermediaries. Q2 2025 saw testnet launch and gated mainnet beta supporting Bitcoin, Ethereum, and NEAR. Q3 2025 brings full mainnet release with support for Stellar, Solana, Cardano, and ZCash, plus private lending via ZCash. Q4 2025 adds chain abstraction, curated vaults, and wallet-less onboarding. Throughout 2026, Templar plans to expand to 20+ additional chains including Polkadot, Avalanche, and Aptos, while integrating yield primitives, fixed-rate loans, and advanced privacy features like shielded assets and zero-knowledge smart contracts.
