Novatti Group Limited announced at Stellar Meridian in Rome that AUDD, a fully collateralized Australian dollar stablecoin, will go live on the Stellar blockchain on November 1, 2022. The stablecoin will be available for direct 1:1 swaps with fiat Australian dollars through Novatti's platform and app. Once live, AUDD will enable users worldwide to make payments, send remittances with near-instant settlement, and trade with other Stellar-based tokens via the on-chain DEX. Any Stellar-enabled wallet can access AUDD. Novatti positions this as the first Australian payments company to deliver on digital currency potential, with use cases including remittance, gateway, DeFi pairs, and stablecoin-as-a-service.
