Pundi X announced a partnership with Stellar.org to integrate with the Stellar protocol and serve as an Indonesian Rupiah anchor on the network. This enables businesses and individuals to send and receive cross-border payments in local currency at lower costs and faster speeds. Pundi X will support Stellar Lumens (XLM) in its cryptocurrency POS solution, allowing retail stores to accept digital currencies. The partnership aims to increase international trade settled in Indonesian Rupiah, supporting Bank Indonesia's currency diversification goals and serving under-banked citizens and small businesses across Southeast Asia.
