The Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) launched a $10 million Soroban awards program as part of its $100 million Soroban Adoption Fund. Through the Stellar Community Fund, developers can receive up to $150,000 in XLM depending on project scope. The program begins February 13 with monthly application rounds through June 2023, supporting builders creating tools, DeFi protocols, dApps, and educational resources. SDF and DFS Lab will also host quarterly 5-day startup camps. The initiative aims to bootstrap a developer ecosystem ahead of Soroban's mainnet launch in the first half of 2023.
