The Stellar Development Foundation launched Stellar Next-Gen, an educational initiative partnering with universities and organizations worldwide to develop blockchain talent and foster financial inclusion through courses, hackathons, and mentorship programs.

The Stellar Development Foundation announced Stellar Next-Gen, a program designed to address the fintech industry's talent shortage by collaborating with universities and educational institutions globally. The initiative will support academic programs like Blockchain at Berkeley, UCL's Centre of Blockchain Technologies, and NUS FinTech Lab through guest lectures, project development support, and curriculum integration. SDF has already sponsored five student-focused hackathons through Encode Club and Minority Programmers Association, with plans to expand. The program aims to build inclusive communities and equip the next generation of developers with blockchain skills and mentorship needed to create more equitable financial systems.
