Giveth has announced the integration of Stellar blockchain into its donation platform, making it the 11th blockchain option available. The integration leverages Stellar's key features: ultra-low transaction fees (fractions of a cent), fast settlement times (3-5 seconds), energy efficiency, and mission-aligned financial inclusion. Project owners can now add Stellar addresses to accept donations, while donors can contribute XLM and earn GIVbacks rewards (for donations $5+) by signing in with an Ethereum profile. Currently, donations on Stellar are limited to XLM tokens, and the platform emphasizes memo requirements for proper transaction tracking.
