StellarExpert released a suite of infrastructure updates in September 2018. The centerpiece was the open Directory API, allowing developers to query a curated list of well-known Stellar account addresses for use in applications. A new Directory explorer interface provided a web UI for browsing these addresses. The release also introduced XLM supply tracking charts showing circulating amounts and historical changes, and standardized all dates across the platform to UTC to eliminate timezone conversion confusion. The update resolved recurring stability and performance issues in both the explorer interface and the data ingestion engine, bringing the platform to production-grade reliability. The work was completed with acknowledgment to Iris Li, who had maintained the original Stellar directory infrastructure.
