Tempo France and nTokens launched a remittance corridor from EU to Brazil using Stellar blockchain, enabling 170+ Brazilian banks to receive funds with lower costs, faster speeds, and enhanced security through the Tempo mobile app.

Tempo France and Brazil-based fintech nTokens have launched a remittance service from EU countries to Brazil leveraging Stellar blockchain technology developed by Armenotech. The service allows users to send funds via Tempo's mobile application to over 170 Brazilian banks, with final payouts processed through Brazil's PIX instant payment network. The Stellar blockchain integration provides significant advantages including faster transaction speeds, maximum safety and transparency, and crucially, the lowest possible remittance costs. Both companies view this as a major breakthrough for the EU-Brazil corridor, which represents nearly $5 billion in South American remittances. They project the transfer volume between EU and Brazil will grow from 5% to 10% in 2023, positioning this as a model for broader blockchain adoption in South American finance.
