MoneyGram is launching a non-custodial digital wallet in Q1 2024 that enables fiat-to-crypto conversion using stablecoin technology, expanding its role as Stellar's largest fiat on/off-ramp provider.

MoneyGram announced plans to launch a non-custodial digital wallet leveraging stablecoin technology, set for release in Q1 2024. The wallet will allow customers to convert between fiat and crypto. MoneyGram, in partnership with the Stellar Development Foundation, has become the world's largest fiat on/off-ramp provider for blockchain access, offering cash-out in over 180 countries and cash-in in 30+ countries. The company previously expanded its fiat on/off-ramp service to eight digital wallets on the Stellar blockchain. This announcement follows SDF's recent strategic investment in MoneyGram and builds on their two-year partnership to facilitate crypto payments and cash-to-crypto services.
