BVNK, a stablecoin payments infrastructure platform processing $39B in annualized volume, integrated Stellar, giving enterprise clients access to 5-second settlement and sub-cent fees through its existing API. SCF #45 distributed approximately $4.04M in XLM to 40 projects spanning confidential finance, RWA tokenization, cross-border payment rails, and agentic-payment tooling. Institutional Payments

BVNK's Stellar integration is the week's largest commercial announcement. The company processes $39B annually across 130+ countries; its enterprise customers can now settle on Stellar via BVNK's existing API with no additional engineering required.

Pods Finance announced connectivity between Brazil's Pix instant-payment rails and Stellar, letting wallets, fintechs, and neobanks move users from BRL into on-chain assets. The integration creates an inbound corridor from one of the world's highest-volume domestic payment networks.

Developer Infrastructure

OpenZeppelin published an architecture design for issuer-controlled confidential token contracts on Stellar. The design keeps transaction amounts private while preserving clawback, compliance controls, and regulatory visibility, addressing the requirements institutional risk committees impose on stablecoin issuers.

LOBSTR released an open-source browser extension signer with an SDK for adding "Log in with LOBSTR" flows to Stellar dApps. Normal Finance documented a summer infrastructure rebuild: portfolio load time fell 61x (22 seconds to 0.36 seconds), test coverage grew from zero to 566 automated tests, and unauthenticated API routes dropped from 18 to zero.

A new SEP proposal (discussion) addresses blind signing on hardware wallets for Soroban contracts. Because InvokeHostFunction carries arbitrary SCVal-encoded arguments, hardware wallets cannot display what users are signing. The proposal is in open comment.
