Blockaid, an on-chain security platform, announced its launch on Stellar with initial partners Freighter and Lobster. The platform detects malicious transactions, wallet drainers, and scams, having stopped hundreds of millions of attacks and protected billions in assets across multiple ecosystems.
Ito from Blockaid presented the company's security platform launching on Stellar, addressing the ecosystem's growing scam problem. Blockaid works with wallets, protocols, exchanges, and chains to detect malicious transactions, token scams, and wallet drainers. The platform has scanned billions of transactions and stopped hundreds of millions of attacks, protecting billions in assets. A pre-launch report found over $7 million stolen in three months on Stellar, with the QSI group controlling nearly 80% of scam activity. Blockaid's integration with Freighter and Lobster provides real-time warnings for malicious transactions and dApps. Both wallets will integrate transaction scanning APIs and later add malicious token detection and dApp scanning. The platform gives teams visibility into on-chain threats affecting their users and infrastructure.
