Stellar Private Payments is available on testnet as a developer preview. Built by Nethermind, it's a zero-knowledge privacy pool protocol that breaks the link between deposit and withdrawal addresses while maintaining compliance readiness. Web and Rust SDKs are live.
Stellar Private Payments brings application-layer privacy to Stellar through a zero-knowledge privacy pool implementation. Unlike confidential tokens (which hide amounts), SPP hides the relationship between depositor and withdrawer addresses, enabling private relationships for cross-border donations, B2B supplier links, and payroll. The protocol uses Groth 16 zero-knowledge proofs and Circom, built on Protocol 25 and 26 cryptographic primitives. Available now on testnet with web and Rust SDKs, a demo app, and CLI tools. Not yet audited; testnet-only for now to gather developer feedback before mainnet launch.
