Buidlers Bolivia is organizing a nationwide university tour and national online hackathon to build developer capacity on Stellar in October and November 2026. The tour will reach approximately 150-300 students across La Paz, El Alto, Cochabamba, and Santa Cruz, with the hackathon following as a seven-day online competition featuring 12 winning teams from the four cities. The initiative reflects Bolivia's rapid stablecoin adoption, with regulated transaction volume growing from $46.5 million in early 2024 to $294 million by mid-2025, a 630% increase. Ecosystem projects Trustless Work, Pollar, and Vaquita will provide mentorship.
