COZ participated in StarBase Connect Day on June 26-27 in Santos, Brazil, helping connect a regional innovation community to Stellar for the first time. The event brought together students, educators, founders, and public institutions, with an Ideathon introducing more than 140 students to Web3 and blockchain through practical challenges. For most participants, the event was their first encounter with Stellar and open financial infrastructure. Follow-on momentum is building: COZ is running a professional developer hackathon in Baixada Santista through July, with further engagement planned through a larger Harbor Hackathon later this year. The event demonstrates the value of practical, hands-on introductions to blockchain—focusing on what the technology enables rather than infrastructure complexity.
