OctoPos deploys an on-chain NAV oracle on Stellar testnet alongside its API to solve the fragmentation problem in DeFi position tracking. The paired architecture lets developers choose between fast off-chain queries and trustless on-chain verification, eliminating the need for each wallet and protocol to build custom indexers.

OctoPos addresses Stellar DeFi's fragmentation tax by consolidating position data from Blend, Aquarius, vaults, and other protocols into a single API that handles 60,000+ requests per minute. However, recognizing that off-chain APIs cannot provide trustless verification, OctoPos now ships a complementary on-chain NAV oracle on Stellar testnet. This paired architecture lets applications use the fast API for frontends and dashboards while protocols can use the oracle for smart contract logic and liquidation automation. The design enables institutional adoption by making position data verifiable without trusting the API operator, similar to independent NAV verification in traditional finance fund administration.
