SocketFi Smart Accounts v2 launches with multi-wallet onboarding (passkeys, Stellar Wallet Kit, EVM wallets), embedded USDC bridge via Circle CCTP, and DeFi integrations (Aquarius, Blend). New automation features enable portfolio rebalancing, dollar-cost averaging, and scheduled disbursements. EVM users can now control Stellar smart accounts without creating a traditional Stellar keypair.

SocketFi Smart Accounts v2 is now live. The release removes major friction for onboarding users from other blockchains: Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, and Avalanche users can authenticate with their existing wallet and control a Stellar smart account without first creating a traditional Stellar account. Smart account creation now supports passkeys (WebAuthn), Stellar Wallet Kit, and direct EVM wallet authorization, allowing users to onboard with the wallet they already own. The platform integrates an embedded bridge powered by Circle CCTP, enabling direct USDC transfers from EVM networks into Stellar smart accounts with low fees and no centralized exchange. Once funded, users immediately access Stellar DeFi through integrations with Aquarius (token swaps and liquidity provision) and Blend (lending and borrowing). Three automation strategies launch alongside: portfolio rebalancing to maintain target asset allocations, dollar-cost averaging (DCA) on a recurring schedule, and scheduled disbursements to multiple recipients in a single authorization.
