At Meridian 2022, the Stellar Development Foundation announced the Anchor Platform, an out-of-the-box software solution designed to accelerate business integration with the Stellar network. The platform provides a single API integration that allows companies like banks and money transfer operators to access Stellar's payment rails without custom development, reducing what previously took months to just weeks. The Anchor Platform enables fiat-to-digital asset cross-border payments, deposits, and withdrawals while connecting businesses to a network of over 80 global anchors. CEO Denelle Dixon stated the platform simplifies tasks by a factor of ten, allowing financial institutions to bridge services to wallets, applications, and exchanges significantly faster and more cost-effectively.
