Stellar has been integrated into Samsung Blockchain Keystore, becoming the fifth cryptocurrency supported alongside Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, and Klaytn. Samsung Galaxy users can now securely store private keys and sign transactions on Stellar dapps.
The Stellar Foundation announced Stellar's integration into Samsung Blockchain Keystore, making it the fifth cryptocurrency network supported by the platform after Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, and Klaytn. The integration enables Samsung Galaxy smartphone users to securely store private keys on their devices and sign transactions for Stellar-based applications and wallets. At least four Stellar-based businesses have committed to building apps for the Keystore: DTSOQ, SatoshiPay, Litemind, and Nodle. The Samsung Blockchain Keystore is available on Galaxy S20 Series, Galaxy Note 10 Series, Galaxy S10 series, and Galaxy Flip and Fold phones. This integration represents a significant step toward broader blockchain adoption through mainstream consumer devices.
