The Stellar Development Foundation announced a $10 million Soroban-focused awards program as part of its $100 million Soroban Adoption Fund. The Stellar Community Fund will accept applications starting February 13, 2023, with submission deadlines on March 12, April 9, May 7, and June 4. The program supports developers, startups, companies, educators, and community coordinators building first-wave tools, DeFi protocols, dApps, and educational resources on Soroban. SDF and DFS Lab will also host quarterly 5-day startup camps to accelerate development. Soroban is expected to launch on Stellar Mainnet in the first half of 2023.
