The Stellar Development Foundation, MoneyGram International, and Techstars announced a new startup accelerator program focused on Latin America and financial inclusion. The program will select up to 12 fintech startups annually for a 13-week immersive program, with mentorship from all three organizations. Participants will work on blockchain and digital payment technologies to streamline cross-border payments and serve the region's largely unbanked and underbanked population. The program runs for three years, with Demo Days for investor presentations at the end of each cohort. Applications opened July 25, 2022, with a deadline of October 12, 2022.
