The 'Build the Future of Finance' hackathon, organized by Stellar Philippines and Rise In, concluded May 23, 2026 in Manila with 165 registrations and 28 mainnet deployments. Five teams earned awards for addressing financial infrastructure gaps in the Philippines: AbotPera developed payments for zero-internet rural areas; PinkRaft created an AI-assisted tool for Soroban payment architecture design; Axial built a liquidity engine for MSMEs to tokenize receivables; Sobre provided stablecoin-based envelope budgeting for overseas worker remittances; and TyFi prototyped credit access for agricultural workers. PDAX provided API access during the event, while Coins.ph and other integrated partners supported the cohort's institutional context.
