Rise In and Stellar Philippines hosted the Build on Stellar bootcamp at Philippine Blockchain Week on June 20-21, drawing 127 registered developers over two days. The initiative served as a pipeline from the previous Build the Future of Finance hackathon, which produced 28 mainnet deployments. The bootcamp featured hands-on technical training covering environment setup, tooling, and on-chain application deployment, led by Rise In's Armielyn Obinguar. Philippine Digital Asset Exchange presented API integration capabilities for fintech use cases. The event showcased five winning projects from the previous hackathon: AbotPera (low-connectivity payments), PinkRaft (AI development tool), Axial (liquidity engine), Sobre (remittances), and TyFi (agricultural credit). A project pitching competition on day two featured 12 early-stage ideas. Thirty-one participants enrolled in the Build on Stellar Journey to Mastery program. The regional APAC Stellar Hackathon is now accepting submissions until July 15, with a $60,000 prize pool and Demo Day on July 18.
