Validation Cloud operates archive nodes that maintain complete Stellar network history, enabling developers to access historical ledger data and transaction details. Key use cases include auditing and compliance for financial institutions, dApp development with historical contract states, and blockchain explorer services. Stellar Development Foundation VP Tomer Weller highlighted how this addition improves developer experience and strengthens the network's institutional appeal through enhanced auditing features. Users can access Horizon free with up to 50 million Compute Units monthly, with paid plans offering unlimited scalability.
