Drips is launching Stellar Wave 2 on February 19th with major improvements including application quotas, post-contribution surveys, language filtering, org profiles, Discord linking, and enhanced spam protection.

Drips Wave, a recurring bounty cycle for open-source contributions, is launching its second iteration for the Stellar ecosystem on February 19th. Building on the success of Wave 1—which saw nearly 600 participants merge over 3,000 PRs across 200+ repositories in ten days—Wave 2 introduces several key improvements. New features include pending application limits (15 max per contributor) and contributor-per-org limits (7 max per org) to ensure fairer distribution, replacement of compliments with detailed post-contribution surveys for better feedback, language-based issue filtering, new org profiles with Discord linking capabilities, automatic PR-to-issue linking reminders, enhanced application review tools, and strengthened spam prevention measures. The platform aims to create a more vibrant open-source ecosystem while protecting against bad actors.
