Drips Network is introducing Drips Wave, a recurring bounty cycle that runs monthly sprints where developers compete for funding pools. Maintainers nominate issues, contributors apply and earn points tracked on leaderboards, with on-chain fund distribution. The first full Wave program launches for the Stellar ecosystem in January 2026. Wave complements Drips' existing funding mechanisms like RetroPGF, Direct Grants, and Dependency Funding, creating multiple entry points for developers to contribute and earn. The concept was originally popularized by OnlyDust before that program sunset.
