Wave 3, launching March 23rd, introduces enhanced Sybil attack defenses with real-time detection mechanisms ranging from CAPTCHA to KYC verification. New AI-assisted features include automated quota release for pending PRs and automatic issue points appeals through Discord. The platform is also lowering per-organization contribution limits from 7 to 4 issues and adding application editing and explicit rejection capabilities to improve the contributor experience.
